Jessie read English at Cambridge University. She returned recently from New York where she was involved in independent film productions. She has been in several productions at the Edinburgh Fringe. She performed comic lead roles in Cambridge Footlights main shows such as the Pantomime and the Spring Revue. Dramatic roles include: Catherine in 'Suddenly Last Summer', Sylv in 'East', Ophelia in 'Hamlet', Charlotte Corday in 'Marat/Sade'. At the Edinburgh Fringe roles include: Elizabeth and Rebecca in 'Five Visions of the Faithful', and Beverly in 'Abigail's Party' (4* Fest). In New York she had the lead roles of Stephanie in 'Lightning' and Brigitte in 'Skylarks' (Siren Complex Productions). Short films include: 'Talking Art' as Caz, 'Awake' as Jen, 'For Eternity' ( Dawn Dog Productions) as Alison and 'Suitcase' (BBC Talent Boost) as Sarah. She is a versatile performer adept at both comedy and drama with an exceptionally good ear for accents.
