Wole trained at Bangor University and has performed at the Lowry, Royal Exchange Studio, Contact Theatre, Battersea Arts Centre and theatres in Rome, Berlin and the Brighton Fringe. He has toured England, Wales, Germany and Italy and has played a variety of roles including lover, king, coward, a holy man, and a redemption seeking brother in ‘Souls’ by Roy Williams. Credits include Jack in “Ash” directed by John Retallack, Biggy in the Big Chill for the National Theatre & Box Clever, directed by Mark Storor, and Ollie with Filter’s “Faster”, directed by Guy Retallack. Shakespearean roles include Romeo, for the Wales’ Actors Company, Oberon in a Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Pistol in Henry V. He was recently cast as a subversive activist in a viral car commercial for Ford, and a dad of four in Testing Times for the BBC. And just to test himself further (4 kids!) one of Wole’s more extreme hobbies is sky-diving “Great experience; most people think I’m pretty chilled to jump out of planes…then they get to know me…” he says. A threat, or a promise?
