Karl Wilson

London-based newcomer to the scene, Karl Wilson was born and bred in Surrey, educated at Charterhouse and Durham University and went on to qualify and work as a finance lawyer at a leading City law firm – before trading it all in for a place at the Royal Academy of Music, to study Musical Theatre. Since graduating, Karl has nurtured his craft and passion for acting at the Actors Centre, where he has found his niche for playing “classy and dangerous bastards.” He has also gained valuable on set experience as a background artiste, including featured performances.
Outside acting, Karl has written and recorded three albums of original songs, and has lived and worked in London and New York. Credits include the music video for Dangerous by Horace Music, Garry in Present Laughter; Sorin in The Seagull, and Barnaby in The Baker’s Wife. As a professional singer, Karl’s highlights include performing with Elton John at the Royal Opera House, and as a lead singer of pop and rock classics at the Royal Albert Hall.
