Shani was born in Israel with Jewish/Moroccan origin and other than English she speaks Hebrew and Arabic.
She trained at the Sharon Alexander Acting School for Stage and Screen in Tel Aviv, Post graduate at the London Academy of Performing Art, Skills Development through Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Theatre credits include: Munia in Return from Guantanamo bay Etcetera theatre, Electra in The Flies Camden’s People Theatre, Nandini in Red Oleander Camden’s People Theatre. Recent film credits include: Secret Agent in Discrete by Rotem Koppelmann, Voice over include: Munich by Steven Spielberg.
Currently Shani is Anne Frank in the award winning multi-media play And then they came for me (London Tour includes The Richmond Theatre) and working on her documentary dealing with Israeli politics (post-production).
