Sam Webster

Sam graduated from Central School of Speech and Drama in 2008 and spent summer  2009 training in London, Paris and Berlin on the European ACT programme delivered by The Actors  Centre, RADA and the Institute of Performing Arts, Paris.

Theatre roles whilst training include:  Iago (Othello), Spurio (The Revenger’s Tragedy), Poins, Sit Walter Blunt, Sir Richard Vernon, Justice Shallow (Henry IV), Stanley (The Birthday Party), Jim O’Connor (The Glass Menagerie)

Professional theatre roles include: Paul (Geordie Man) in ‘Aftercare’, Camden People’s Theatre; Tom (Geordie Settler) in ‘Skin Tight’, The Pleasance Islington; Maddocks (Geordie Army Officer) in ‘Kikia te Poa’, Pacific Playhouse; Geordie lad in ’Precious Things’, Pacific Playhouse; Tyablt / Balthazar in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, Wimbledon Studio; Captain Datchikvilli in ‘Sam, the Highest Jumper of Them All’, The Finborough; the title role in ‘Richard III’,  Catford Broadway.

Sam has also worked with the following directors: Harry Burton, Jovan Arsenic, Patricia Bardon, Patrick Toomey, Scott Williams, Niki Flacks, Martin Wilde, and Stella Duffy.

Film: Rage (2nd Lead Villain) in ‘I of the Lost’ (Feature, 2009/ 10); Hunter 2 (Viral, 2008) in ‘Secret Squirrel’, Wanted Films Ltd.

Sam is fiercely proud of his Geordie roots and prays that Newcastle United are promoted to the Premier League this season.
