Chrys Salt – Director

Chrys is an award winning writer and theatre director. She began her career as a performer in Rep, touring, West End, TV and radio with regular stints in various soaps and series. She now directs in theatre and sound and writes books, theatre and radio plays, features and documentaries including seven popular books for actors. She is Artistic Director of Bare Boards…and a passion Theatre Company and The Bakehouse, a flourishing arts venue in S.W Scotland. Chrys teaches regularly at The Actors Centre, London.

Tammy Jones

Tammy trained at East 15 and has appeared in a wide selection of productions, through all genres which include theatre, television and film. Her most recent performance was a UK Number 1 tour with Middleground Theatre Company where Tammy took on the role of Cecily and understudied Gwendolyn. Other theatre roles include Jessica in Tranquillity Bay (Royal Court Theatre), Ruby in Words of Advice (Theatre Royal Bath), Luciana in Comedy of Errors (Octagon Theatre) and Geza Kid in The Stone Watcher (Tristan Bates Theatre) to name but a few. Tammy has a very strong singing voice and an excellent ear for accents.

Roanna Bond

Roanna graduated with a First BA Hons in Drama from the University of East Anglia in 2007. She has most recently been seen playing Oliver in a five month national tour of Oliver Twist. Before this she performed as First Witch in a production of Macbeth with 1623 Theatre Company and played Sophia in The Woman-Hater for Numb Compass Theatre Company. Other credits include: Paula in The Positive Hour at the Jermyn Street Theatre, Ars Moriendi at the Tobacco Factory and a national tour of a one-woman show. Her film and TV credits include: Identity for ITV, as well as Anne in Churchill At War and Sarah in Down To Earth, both for BBC Television. She has performed in a wide variety of productions, ranging across theatre, television and film, as well as doing voice-over and radio work.

Mian Rahman

Mian Rahman is from Bradford, West Yorkshire. He studied Acting at The Arden School of Theatre / Manchester University and The Courtyard Theatre in London. Screen appearances include an umpire in the feature film Wimbledon and Remises II for the History Channel USA. Mian has toured with a number of theatre companies in the UK as well as a year with the White Horse Theatre Company in Germany. Prior to being an Actor, Mian was a Rock Musician (Drums and Guitar) Bands included: Boys from the East and Detrimental.

Lydia Emerson

Lydia graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2008, after studying Drama at Manchester University. Her roles while training include Gretl in Don Juan, performed at The BAC, Emilia in The Man of Mode, and Hermione in The Winter’s Tale. Theatre includes, Little Friend in More Light, by Bryony Lavery, at The Arcola, “a potent, pungent, theatrical morsel,” (The Times); “decorous teasing…beautifully designed and performed,” (The Guardian), and Alison in Private Moments, at The Karamel Club. Film includes, Jane in Shag, Marry, Kill, and Stacey in Sky Edge.

Henrietta Clemmett

Henrietta’s film credits include Run Fatboy Run and Sex With The Finkles. TV includes: Much Ado About Nothing-Shakespeare Re-told (BBC), Ultimate Force, The Bill, Murder City and Family Affairs. Theatre work includes Harry in Who’s Harry? (The Pleasance, Edinburgh & London) which was awarded a Fringe First. Other work includes numerous commercials, sound and corporate work. Henrietta trained at the Poor School after graduating with a 2:1 in English & History of Art from Oxford Brookes University.

Georgia trained at Richmond Drama School. Theatre credits include Helena in Look Back in Anger (English Speaking Theatre of Slovenia), Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing (OSO Productions), Duchess of Guise in Massacre at Paris (The Marlow Society) Mother-in-Law in Blood Wedding (Act Provocateur International) and Sin in Manus Tuas (The Festival of Emergent Arts). Film credits include Two Storm Wood (directed by award winning actor Tom Hardy), Vespers (Loonatik & Drinks), Marilyn & Me, Flawless and Cardboard (Ealing Studios).

Emma Newborn

After training at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, New Zealand born actress Emma Newborn is now based in London. Principal theatre credits in Australia and the UK include: Cinderella with The Sisters Grimm, The 11′O Clock and Binding Love as part of the Short and Sweet Festival, Radicals & Misanthropes, Pretty White Lies and The Velveteen Undertow (St Martins Theatre), Electra and Family Running for Mr Whippy for VCA New Directors Season. Film credits include: The Gameshow (Dir. Sean Mullins) UK, All Clean (Dir. Giannis Georgiou) UK. Writing Credits include: A Blueprint for Happiness for St Martins Theatre and Melbourne Fringe 2006. Emma is also a collaborative member of The Film Improvisation Project and Kaylosia Comedy UK.

Charles Ciccognani

Charles Ciccognani trained at the Birmingham School of Acting which included performances in The Libertine (Birmingham Old Rep), The Diary of Anne Frank, Hamlet and The Cherry Orchard. Since graduating in 2007 he has performed at Hackney Empire in the play Masks. Prior to training Charles worked for many years within the television industry.

He is currently seeking representation.

Brenden Lovett

Brenden trained at East 15 as well as the Atlantic Theatre Company in New York. He has performed in musicals from Hal Prince’s Show Boat to playing Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show, but more recently he has since shifted his attention to the screen and has appeared in two independent features. He played a manipulative secret agent in the conspiracy theory film, Rubicon and most recently a leading role as a hard-hitting, criminal in the feature film The Baseline, working alongside Jamie Foreman, Dexter Fletcher and Zoe Tapper.

Sophie Bayly Jones

A mid-life crisis in her 30’s prompted Sophie to embark on her true passion…acting. Theatre credits include Margaret, Cavalcade (John Lyons) and the lion tamer in Billy Blister’s Circus (Watford Palace). In the film Off We Go Then, Sophie was an undersexed 1960’s housewife and in her most recent role she played a medicated Madonna fanatic. Sophie hopes her future roles will always be as varied!
