Chrys Salt – Director

Chrys is an award winning writer and theatre director. She began her career as a performer in Rep, touring, West End, TV and radio with regular stints in various soaps and series. She now directs in theatre and sound and writes books, theatre and radio plays, features and documentaries including seven popular books for actors. She is Artistic Director of Bare Boards…and a passion Theatre Company and The Bakehouse, a flourishing arts venue in S.W Scotland. Chrys teaches regularly at The Actors Centre, London.

Holly Aisbitt

Holly trained at Mountview and Trinity College of Music. Roles at Mountview include Rebecca/ Rafaela – Elegies…, Stella Deems – Follies, Sandra – Touched and Hermia – A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Since graduating she has apperared in Ray Cooney’s ‘Time’s Up’. As a singer Holly has appeared at the Royal Opera House, a BBC masterclass and at the Proms. She also sings backing and guide vocals for a film soundtrack production company.

Doug Crossley

Doug recently graduated from GSA Conservatoire; credits whilst training include Women Beware Women, Merchant of Venice, Threepenny Opera and Spotlight Prize nomination. Since graduating performance highlights have been West Side Story, Gordon Craig Theatre, Ordinary Lads, Etcetera Theatre and student film projects with Ravensbourne College. Skilled in Stage Combat BADC Level Two, Rapier, Dagger, Un-Armed, Broadsword and Quarterstaff, Dance inc. Jazz, Jive, Cha Cha, Historical, Double Work, Singing and Presenting.

Tamina Davar

Trained in drama at Wesleyan University in the U.S., Tamina has performed at The Public Theater and Second Stage Theatre in New York, as well as in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Toronto. She has worked frequently with SALAAM Theatre, New York’s primary South Asian theatre company, including Lysistrata in the international Lysistrata Project; as well as with the African Women’s Repertory, DiverseCity Theatre, and Rising Circle, among others; and has toured original work with Peeling the Banana (a pan-Asian American company). She also performs original spoken word.

Olivia Ellis

Olivia has recently graduated from The Birmingham School of Acting, where she had the opportunity to play characters including Varya in The Cherry Orchard and Ophelia in Hamlet. After playing Dabby Bryant in Our Country’s Good at The Birmingham Rep Olivia relocated to London. Since settling in London she is always looking to expand her skills by partaking in classes at The Actors Centre and indulgent trips to our Capital’s theatre’s.

James Fulton

James is a graduate of Queens, Belfast and trained with the Actors Company, Hoxton playing Don John in their reparatory season production of Much Ado about Nothing and Mistress Quickley in their Henry IV (I). Since graduating he has appeared in “Great Plague” for the Discovery Channel and “Hard Day at Office Love?” for Tmax Media. James won an Irish Student Drama Festival award for Peter Quince.

Emma Gable

Emma trained at the RSAMD (1993 – 1996). She won Best Female Performer, Margaret Gordon Prize – Best Theatrical Performance, Royal Lyceum Theatre Club Award – Best Performance in an Elizabethan or Jacobean Play and was Joint Winner (Group Award) of BBC Carleton Hobbs Competition. After a successful start Emma became seriously ill but she is now fully recovered and raring to go.

Lorna Jones

Lorna has toured France and Monaco with Company Oz of Paris in a musical adaptation of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, held an acting residency with Impact Universal, acted in various short films, a BBC sitcom and an international television series. She has also danced in an Elvis tribute band after graduating from Liverpool John Moores University in 2004 with a BA (Hons) in Drama and Creative Writing.

Eleanor Lamb

Eleanor graduated from Arts Ed in September 2007. Roles whilst training include Celia in The Philanthropist and Hermione in The Winter’s Tale. Eleanor has a degree from Bristol University and a qualification in counselling. Having formerly worked as a youth worker and careers adviser, Eleanor finally decided to ignore all her own advice and train as an actress. She would love to one day appear in Spooks!

Helena Lewin

Helena trained in Liberties College, Dublin, where after graduating she has worked extensively as a freelance actor. Among her favourite parts are:
Estelle in No Exit and the title role in Miss Julie.
She recently completed a run of the play Image Makers in Dublin, where she got the chance to play the real life legendary Swedish actress Tora Teje

Jennifer Mountauin

Jennifer recently graduated from the post graduate Acting course at Arts Ed London. She completed her undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature at Oxford University where she was involved in the drama society, and gained an award for Best Actress in the University’s Drama Festival. After university, Jennifer worked as a researcher at the BBC. She gained valuable experience but recognised that acting was her vocation and accepted a place at Arts Ed with a Dance and Drama Award.

George Murphy

Trained at The Studio School, George has worked in the UK, Australia and Canada. On stage he won critical acclaim for his performance as psychotic Terry in Shelf Life at the Edinburgh Festival and Danny Lawless in The Next Big Thing at London’s Old Vic. TV credits include The Bill, The Lost Prince and Doctor Who spin off Unnatural Selection.
He was also cast in the US remake of The Wicker Man opposite Nicholas Cage.

Janine Van den Berg

Janine van den Berg is a London based actress who studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. Since leaving Janine has worked professionally in both television and theatre appearing as Pam Kilroe in Dangerfield and Sarah-Jane in Dalziel and Pascoe for the BBC and has appeared as Olivia in the UK tour of Twelfth Night and Cinderella in Pantomime. Janine is also a professional singer and is looking forward to appearing in the Showcase
